CCTV Drain Inspections
See exactly what’s happening inside your drains and pipes.
When a drain is blocked or damaged, guesswork is expensive. Aotea Plumbing & Drainage uses specialised CCTV camera equipment to inspect the inside of your drains and pipes, pinpoint the problem, and recommend the right fix with no unnecessary digging. Contact us for professional CCTV drain inspection services.
What is a CCTV drain inspection?
A CCTV drain inspection uses a small, high-resolution waterproof camera fed through your drainage system to provide a clear, real-time view of the inside of your pipes. It’s a fast, non-invasive way to locate blockages, cracks, root intrusion, collapsed pipes, and other issues without digging up your property to find them.
When should you book a CCTV drain inspection?
You have a recurring or stubborn blocked drain.
You’re experiencing slow drainage or unpleasant smells.
You’re buying a property and want to check the condition of the drains.
You suspect tree roots or damage in your underground pipes.
You want to confirm the location and condition of pipework before work begins.
How does a CCTV drain inspection work?
Our plumber feeds a flexible camera line into your drainage system and views the footage in real time, tracing the pipe to identify the exact location and nature of the problem. Because we can see precisely what’s going on, we can recommend a targeted repair, saving you the time, cost and disruption of exploratory digging.
