Water Filtration
Cleaner, clearer, better-tasting water for your home or business.
Whether you want to improve the taste of your tap water, protect your appliances, or ensure a safe supply from a rural source, Aotea Plumbing & Drainage can design and install a water filtration system to suit. Our qualified team will help you find the right solution for your water and your needs.
What is water filtration?
Water filtration removes sediment, chemicals, bacteria and other contaminants from your water supply, improving its quality, taste and safety. Systems range from simple under-bench drinking water filters through to whole-house and UV filtration, particularly valuable for properties on tank, bore or rural water supplies.
Why water filtration?
Signs you may benefit from water filtration
You want to reduce your power bills and energy use.
You’re replacing an old or failing electric hot water cylinder.
You’re building or renovating and want an efficient, modern system.
You’d like a more environmentally friendly way to heat your water.
You have a suitable outdoor space for the unit (we can advise on this).
How does water filtration work?
Depending on your water and your goals, a filtration system uses one or more stages — such as sediment filters, carbon filters, or UV treatment to remove contaminants as water enters your home or a specific tap. Our team will test and assess your supply, recommend the right system, and install it for clean water where you need it.
