Hot Water Cylinders
Supply, installation, repair and replacement of hot water cylinders.
A reliable hot water cylinder is something every household depends on until the day it stops working. Aotea Plumbing & Drainage supplies, installs, repairs and replaces hot water cylinders of all types, helping you choose the right system for your home and budget, and keeping the hot water flowing.
What is a hot water cylinder?
A hot water cylinder stores and heats your home’s hot water, ready for use at the tap or shower. Cylinders can be electric, connected to a heat pump, wetback or solar system, and come in mains-pressure or low-pressure options. Choosing the right type and size for your household makes a real difference to your comfort and running costs.
Signs you may need a hot water cylinder repair or replacement
You’re running out of hot water faster than you used to.
There is rust around the cylinder.
You can see water pooling or leaking near the cylinder, or water is constantly running out an overflow pipe outside
The water isn’t getting hot, or the temperature keeps fluctuating.
Your cylinder is old (most last 10-15 years) and due for replacement.
